Sherman Folland is Professor of Economics (emeritus) at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, USA. He received his PhD from The University of Iowa in 1975 and has taught at Penn State University and Oakland University. He has written over 50 articles and edited several books. Allen C. Goodman is Professor of Economics at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He received his PhD from Yale University and has taught at Lawrence University, The Johns Hopkins University, and Wayne State University. He has written over 100 articles and three books in health and housing economics. Miron Stano is Professor of Economics and Management at Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan, USA. He received his PhD from Cornell University in 1971 and has taught at Wayne State University and Oakland University. He has written over 70 articles and has also served as an expert witness in antitrust cases involving the health care professions.

This textbook would be easy to use if there was a search function (which there is not) and if the text aligned with page numbers to the hardbound version (which it doesn't). This makes it rather difficult to use the book along with a class that is reading from the text at any point in time. However, the writing is a good quality and the graphics are valuable, which makes it a good purchase if you are not taking it alongside a class. I would find it difficult since you cannot search the text, and since professor's assign readings based on pages and not always chapter; then it makes sense that this eBook should have pages.
This is the best textbook on this subject I have found. Very thorough, readable, and well referenced.
Good but not great. Some parts are a bit unclear.
This book is very vague filled with jargon and insufficient for anyone who doesn’t have vast knowledge in the subject.
