This book had some good ideas but everything good in here can be found in much better books. The good is that you need to start having open and honest conversations about sexuality early. Don't wait for puberty. Start young, around age 5.The bad? This book is full of beliefs that make girls and young women think they're responsible for boy's and men's lust. Wrong.

We have 2 older boys and LOVED the "Preparing your Son" book so we assumed we were getting more of the same with this one. Unfortunately this book felt less genuine than the boy's version. The information is presented in a format that, in my opinion, leaves the mom out of the conversation and keeps it between the author and the daughter. The information is thoroughly addressed, just not sure of the presentation.

It is a great book that allows moms of any age daughter to prepare herself and daughter for what the world is throwing at them! It is for puberty age and older girls for reading material, but as a mother of two younger girls, I have read it and plan on reading it again before they get to be that age so I am ready to help them go through the book and inevitable struggles!

This was a great book to use as a devotional with my daughter. We also purchased several for our young couple's life group/Sunday School class for their personal use. The topics covered may be uncomfortable for some, but unfortunately are necessary discussions that must take place with our teens today.

This book is very affirming and helpful for Moms considering and discussing the topic of sexuality with their daughters. It would benefit any mom, no matter what their religious affiliation, as this is a tough subject for us all. The insight is well thought out offering hints and direction that you can customize to your own style. Great book!

This book is GREAT reading and learning material for parents. I'm excited about being able to share with my 2 daughters ( ages 12 and 14) and grow closer to them thru what I have read.
